Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is important to CD Financial (CDF). To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our information practices. Our privacy policy is designed to inform you of the types of information we collect, how we use that information, and the circumstances under which we will share it with nonaffiliated third parties.
Information Collection
CDF automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request. Currently we don't use this information.
CDF also collects nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on agreements or other forms
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency
- Information we receive from your Financial Institution or Service Provider, and/or Equipment Vendor

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates.
Sharing Your Personal Information
CDF automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request. Currently we don't use this information.
CDF doesn't sell or rent your information. We reserve the right to share nonpublic personal information that we collected in the following ways:
- To third party service providers if it is required to better service your agreement
- To law enforcement officials, as permitted or required by law
- To credit reporting agencies to fulfill credit reporting requirements
- To auditors, for regular auditing or merger and acquisition purposes
- To potential buyers in connection with the sale, securitization, or similar transaction involving one or more customer accounts
- To Collections Agencies
- To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of a person, or as otherwise required by law
Any third party we share data with will be carefully prescreened by us and determined by us to be reputable, and these parties are not allowed to use nonpublic personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing assigned services. These companies are prohibited from retaining, sharing, storing or using your personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
Security
CDF protects the information that it maintains by utilizing a combination of industry-standard security technologies, procedures, and organizational measures to minimize the risk that information will be subject to unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. For example, CDF operates secure data networks protected by a firewall and password protection systems. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information received or stored electronically, we also protect all physically stored data. We utilize various physical security measures, such as locks on all computer room doors and key card access to the building. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Twice a year, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected.
While we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Our Right to Contact You
CDF reserves the right to contact you regarding your account status and changes to subscriber agreements, privacy policy, or any other policies or agreements relevant to you. CDF will never request any private or personally identifiable information be sent via email.
Our Right to Change
CDF reserves the right to amend, alter, or change this policy in our sole discretion.
